The Heron Isles Board meets every month on the 3rd Thursday from 6:00PM to 8:00 PM. The meeting is held at the Lions Club of Yulee at 893 N. US Highway 17, Yulee, FL 32097. Homeowners are welcome to attend.

The CDD is responsible for all Heron Isles infrastructure - roads, the park, ponds, landscaping, mailboxes, fences, etc. Therefore, this position is very important to our community! If you are interested in joining the CDD Board, please read the attached document and apply ASAP!
The deadline is January 26th.
Heron Isles will be having its annual Holiday Event on Saturday, December 12th from 2-5P. We will have vendor booths available to Heron Isles residents only. Contact Tammy Stewart at committeedirector@heronislesoa.org or any of the Board members to sign up.
HOA board elections will be held in October. If you are interested in a position, please email Cheryl Graham of Leland Management: CGraham@lelandmanagement.com. Please submit your name BY September 7, 2020 so your name can be added to the ballot.

The Board of Supervisors will consider candidates for appointment to fill a vacant seat for the remaining term of office. Persons interested in being considered to fill the vacancies should submit via email a written résumé to the CDD Recording Secretary (chogge@gmsnf.com) no later than July 23, 2020. Candidates must be registered voters and residents of Heron Isles CDD. The Board of Supervisors will review résumés and is expected to make a selection by majority vote at the next CDD meeting to be held at on August 6, 2020 @ 6:00 p.m. Candidates are encouraged to attend the meeting to briefly address the Board and be available (if selected) to be sworn in and participate in the remainder of the meeting.
Community Development Districts are governmental entities and supervisors are public officials subject to Florida Sunshine Amendment and Code of Ethics. Within 30 days of appointment, the new supervisor will be required to file a Statement of Financial Disclosure (Form 1) with the Nassau County Supervisor of Elections. To view the form, visit http://www.ethics.state.fl.us/ (the form is required after appointment, not as part of the application process). For more information regarding the duties and responsibilities of the Board of Supervisors, please consult Chapter 190, Florida Statutes.

Congratulations to Mr. and Mrs. Jones, owners of 96017 Graylon Dr. They bought the home new in 2014. They are the sweetest couple who have been married for 58 years - and insisted that they be in the photo! Mrs. Jones has health challenges and Mr. Jones is about to give up his yard work because he can’t keep it up anymore. They are such a lovely couple who also pointed out how much they enjoy sitting in the garage listening to “the band” practice near them (maybe you, too, have heard “the band” on Graylon).

Annual HOA assessments were due January 1, 2020 with additional fees applied on January 15, 2020 if not paid. You should have received a notice. If you did not receive one, you can still pay online by accessing your account through the Resident Portal. You can also contact Cheryl Graham at Leland Management.
